Culture QotD: Travel in '09

Any exciting travel plans for 2009?

2009 is starting with travel plans! In about a week and a half Mike and I are heading down to San Jose to attend Further Confusion where we'll be inundated with furry madness as we attempt to sell some of my artwork. It'll be my second time attending, Mike's first time, and our first time with a table at a convention (we're sharing with some friends). To be honest, I'm not sure how he'll handle it since it's a lot of people and he gets a little wigged out by people in mascot-type costumes (ala Disneyland) of which there's a whole hell of a lot at fur cons. A week after we get back from FC I'll be driving up to Washington for another zookeeping internship near Tacoma. I'll be there for 10 weeks, during which I'm hoping to have a few little excursions back home and to visit friends in Portland and hopefully while Mike's visiting we could do a little trip up to Seattle. Those are pretty much the only plans we have so far but there was a little bit of talk of the in-laws taking all us kids on a cruise this summer which would be alot of fun! I've never been on a cruise before (it would also mean finding a bathingsuit....I haven't had one that actually fits in years...eep!)
