My dream job involves working with animals. I working on becoming a zookeeper...I'm close but not there yet. I just have to keep applying and hoping somebody is willing to give me a chance. I'll get there eventually.

So I've had a request for pictures of my new job at the zoo! My camera decided to run out of juice at the end so I won't be able to give you all the full tour but I did get some good shots.

Rosemary the black bear. She's pretty darn old and recently got two new roommates - gray foxes from the Wildlife Care Center who are non-releasable due to leg injuries.

Bill's Memorial Garden- Bill was the chimp that died a few years ago. Eureka children bought him for the zoo from a circus in the 50s. The garden has a statue of Bill along with a history of his life and of the zoo. It also has future plans for the zoo.
